I used some data (retrieved from a spice based software) to approximately simulate an IRFZ44 N-channel MOSfet.
In this circuit it simply controls the dimming of a Right Led connected to a couple AA Batteries (About 3 V) .
The GATE of MOSfet is getting voltage
by the dimming POT powered by a 9V battery ...
Approx values IRFZ44:

VTO=3.56V
