PWM Motor circuit

Low current and low voltage mosfet switch (eg from a PWM arduino output)...for a heavier need motor. The motor rpm speed alters according to the pulse width applied to the mosfet gate. Go in to the pulse source settings at the bottom left of the above schematic and alter the WIDTH only. Watch the motor rpm change. Any standard N mosfet should work in reality eg IRFZ34N, but a Logic Level type is advisable, eg FQP30N06L. (I have not spent time setting the rds here...it's not necessary for this demo).

I keep on getting unknown component, has there been an update?

Yes, there is a brand new motor to play with. It's working fine for me (but I dare say that I have made some basic errors in my new enthusiasm). One problem already is that it does not rotate if there is a pulse source or ac source on the board which causes the scope timescale to be too short....even if that source is not connected to anything. Anyway....back to your dilemma...try renewing your EC program and see if the new motor is on the usual top menu.. I am using Android...perhaps it does not work yet on Chrome etc? Keep us informed about this...it only appeared today but a few users have made schematics with it in the last few hours already.
