Hey guys I'm new here and so far I gotta say I'm wicked impressed with some of the circuits that people have posted just in the span of a few days! I was wondering if people would be willing to share their backgrounds in the comments below? For example how many people here are engineers (graduated or still in school), electricians, hobbyists, etc? Just curious is all!

@gootie3 hey the earlier the better! Good for you man! And @HZSXIII I might have to ask you a bunch of power electronics and circuits questions at some point! I'm rather hopeless when it comes to power stuff especially!

Currently writing my diploma thesis for automotive engineering. I do find myself veering off towards electronics quite frequently though - 3D printing, Arduino etc, nothing too spectacular.

Electrical Hobbyist. My main focus is on network engineering, security systems, and DevOps. I start a 4 year course in August for Network engineering. Electronics is just one of my main hobbies when I'm free for some time. When I do make circuits, I try to learn something from it, which can often leave me thinking for a week.
