Full wave rectifier with capacitor

Used a capacitor to get a better output . Still not a perfect flat DC obtained...

Adding an (incredibly large) inductor would help a bit: http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5589927807156224 But I think the problem is the high resistance (1000 ohms). If you had a lower resistance, you could get smoother current with caps/coils. If you are concerned about the high current, you could add a transformer before the rectifier.
