For every counter hook up pins a and d to the inputs of an and gate, then the output to the reset of that counter and the up input for the next counter. This way it only counts 0-9 and not 0-f. Any questions look at my circuits.

I just told you, if you do this it will only count from 0-9, not 0-f. Which I assume you want because the name of the circuit is my clock. Look at my circuits, I have a 3 digit counter, each one only counts from 0-9, they are wired exactly how I told you to do in my previous comment. You don't have to do anything about it, I was just offering a suggestion to make it a standard clock, not a hexadecimal clock.
