In this circuit, two identical Diode full-bridges rectify the same 3-ph AC voltage to output the same DC current. It highlights the main waveforms and specifically shows the impact of the AC side inductor on the rectified DC voltage. Indeed, in the presence of such an inductive filter, the AC current takes some time to change direction, leading to voltage drops on the DC voltage. The expression of the average rectified DC voltage is as follows : Vdc=3/π*Vac-6*f*L*Idc Where Vac is the peak AC voltage (phase to phase), f is the AC frequency and L is the AC side inductance.
