" blinking LEDs controlled by the pulse of the 555 timer which is ultimately controlled by resistirs , capacitors and a potentiometer. You can adjust the pit to make the lights speed up or slow down.

I appreciate your contribution here on EC, you are clearly thinking outside the conventional box. You are showing ingenuity and you are not afraid to throw around different components, connect them together and see what happens, it’s certainly one way to learn how different components function together. Soon, you’ll be publishing circuits which you’ll be proud of and giggle at all the other circuits you’ve previously published. My friend, I just wanted to offer some advice concerning this circuit. Remove all connections to counter pins 1,2,4 & 8 and tidy up your connections between components. If you’re still interested we can discuss other points worth considering concerning this circuit. Meanwhile, keep on learning and enjoy yourself...😎
