This circuit is just concept if you are going to build this circuit you need consider the transistor power rating heat sinks over load condition etc you will  find reference to this circuit in Higher Electronics by Mike James you can calculate the transistor power rating use the following formula first calculate your total load current (Vout / Rload ) = iLoad then use (Vin - Vout ) * iLoad = Power Rating 

This circuit can be turned into a amplifier or oscillator have it working as an amp getting a gain off 10 into 50 ohm load also have it partially working as a  LC Oscillator
