Do you mean you built this (like on a breadboard with components)? If so, what LED did you use that has a rated voltage drop of 8.6V?

I disassembled some thing and it was LEDs in it so I took them I don’t know what the voltage drop across it

Swell 👍 I was curious because the LED in your circuit has settings of 8.6V and 10mA. It makes sense though if there were multiple LEDs in series as their voltage drops would add up.

Also if you decide to buy a breadboard, please don't get the cheapest one on the market! I suggest getting just a quality breadboard (nothing too fancy though) with good reviews. I once got a real cheep breadboard that is practically useless!
