Low pass filter

A low pass filter filters out high frequencies using a capacitor. At low frequencies, the capacitor impedance is high, and the output goes through. At high frequencies, the impedance is low and voltage can go to ground. Likewise, we can create a LPF filter using an inductor. Because the impedance for an inductor is proportionate to frequency, we have to place the inductor in series with the source. Cut off frequency for this filter is 159Hz
