 No circuito temos uma fonte, uma resistência interna de 1k e 2 formas de alimentar a carga de 500 ohms, ou seja, via seguidor de tensão e diretamente. Percebe-se que toda tensão da fonte está sobre a carga quando usado o seguidor e no outro caso apenas 1/3, isso se deve a característica do seguidor que tem impedância de entrada infinita e de saída nula.
