Circuit where Chasy ground is used as a path to complete circuit

All energy requires a circuit or a circle to complete the path of current in a electrical circuit. In some cases such as a car. Two seperate power supplies one who's voltage is above ground and one who's voltage is positioned bellow ground may communicate power crossed a passive network.. I used a resistor for the passive the network.  Also an example of ground current if we put a resistor between one of the grounds and the above circuit.
