The circuit shows a 3 phase 277 volt to gnd, 480 volt phase to phase circuit. The 3 DC circuits show the instantaneous voltages and currents when the 277 volt RMS power supplies are at 30, 150, and 270 degrees, then at 150, 270, and 30 degrees , and then at 270, 30, and 150 degrees. When the power supply is at -392 Volts it's the negative peak of the sine wave or 270 degrees. The other power supplies are at 196 Volts because they are at 30 and 150 degrees. If the RMS is 277 then peak is 277/0.707 equals 392 Volts. The negative side of the sine wave would be -392 Volts. The SIN of 30 and 150 is 0.5. The instantaneous voltages there would be (0.5)(392) which is 196 volts. Look at any of the loops and see that Kirchhoffs voltage and current laws apply in a three phase circuit.
