@firmoware and @thejona, you both do not understand what the idea is behind a transformerless voltage dropper. First you do a capacity dropper to then stupid collect and integrate the voltage again at a capacitor to then drop the voltage at a 600/500 Ohm resistor! So you both perferte the idea of a capacitor dropper to finaly use a resistor to burn the power. @firmoware about 12Watt ....
