yes. AND THIS THING CAN DO 1MV WOW. (you have to wait for it to build up first though, or just shake it.) No capacitor, its just a plate on the bottom of coil. While yes, there is a capacitance on the coil's topload, its not shown as it doesnt effect the way it runs, all it does it oscillate seperatly, however i dont know how ideal this design is, it may produce way less or more voltage if built. Any help on how to make the SSTC resonate on both coils with teh same frequency would be greatly appreciated

Adjusting inductance and capacitance (and adding a output tank) so that you have two resonant tanks that oscillate at the same frequency might boost output voltage even more. I've made some DRSSTC circuits s

however how do i messure the capacitance of a plate if it was a tesla circuit. I don't have a multimeter that can measure capacitance.

what capacitance would i need on the input side to get an exact resonance frequency of 373kHz

You don't need a multimeter unless you want to build in real life. (Also that parasitic capacitance is too small to be measured by most meters) you need to use an online resonance frequency calculator and match both tanks (I think). The inductance of the secondary of a transformer is ratio of primary to secondary squared times primary inductance.

Actually it's ratio of secondary to primary turns

I dont think its possible to get a 4 fF cap from a top load, so is this accurate?

also I believe everycircuit at least tries to stop oscillations no matter how much is fed back into the circuit, it also means the parasitic capacitance needed drops significantly.

I matched them as best i could, but failed, could you maybe give me a hand.

I raised the secondary inductance to 1H and took it to 1:1000 and the frequencies match up nicely.
