yes. AND THIS THING CAN DO 1MV WOW. (you have to wait for it to build up first though, or just shake it.) No capacitor, its just a plate on the bottom of coil. While yes, there is a capacitance on the coil's topload, its not shown as it doesnt effect the way it runs, all it does it oscillate seperatly, however i dont know how ideal this design is, it may produce way less or more voltage if built.
Any help on how to make the SSTC resonate on both coils with teh same frequency would be greatly appreciated
