300 ohm twin antenna lead connected in from left.  Battery 3 - 18 volts and BF198 or 2N3563 transistor.  Amplified VHF (30 MHz to 300 MHz) antenna 300 ohm twin lead out.

You can have more gain by putting a 1nF capacitor at the emitter in parallel to the 90ohm resistor

Oops! Should have been 22 ohm, not 90 ohms. 1 nF capacitor still helps. Thanks.
