So are you aware that each counter is a 16 bit counter? You are counting from 0-f... If you want to make it a 0-9 counter, then for each counter put an and gate in, and hook the inputs so one is to pin a and the other to pin d of that counter. Then hook up the out put of that and gate to the reset of that timer and the up for the next counter. This will make it only count from 0-9, unless you like hexadecimal counters. Also the second logic train is only lighting up the periods, you could just connect the first one to them. Won't make a difference in this circuit probably, but in other circuits the simpler and fewer components you use the better and less laggy the sim is.
