Why use two relays one only required

Welcome to EC. Couple things to help you get started. 1st look at the Examples tab circuits. 2nd use the search feature to look for circuits you might like. 3rd Have fun post circuits,with questions, there some BRILLIANT folks on here. Your circuit would use 2 relays if you had extra driving/fog lamps.
