This is the zvs induction heater that i have made. It have 2 power supplies because i had no zeners at home. im driving the gates with a n L7812CT but it have a limitation of 35V input.. Im planning to make a buck converter as replacement, so I'll be able to use higher input voltages. Component list: 1 L7812CT 2 100uF @ 35v (for stabilizing the voltage regulator) 2 5k ohm 1/4w resistors 2 470 ohm 1/2w resistors 2 MUR460 schottky diodes 2 IRFPS40N50L mosfets 2 40 to 200 microhenry inductors. Iron powder cores are highly recommended (mine are 80uH) Polyester capacitors 3uF @ 450v as minimum. How to recognize an iron powder core: Normally the iron powder inductors are placed towards lower frequency areas, such as output inductors and chokes. Some of them are painted, the more usual are the yellow/white ones wich are type 26 material Or the green/blue ones that are type 52. I have used the yellow/white toroids taken from old atx psu. Have fun!.
