19V to 250V for Tube Power Amps

A slight modification on my last circuit, which could only supply preamp tubes and indicator tubes, this one is fully equipped to supply Power Amplifier tubes such as EL84. The power supply i chose is a 19V/3.2A laptop charger i got laying around. This project I'm not fully prepared to do yet, i need to gather some stuff first, but if i get results, I'll post them.

When charging the circuit you'll overload your charger.

Since your 10 time-zones away I think after you publish a circuit I have to wait 10h for it to show up on my iPad.

The overload is only just for a few uS. The adapter won't have enough time to respond. It'll work trust me. P.S. I don't think the time difference makes a difference

Oh, ok.

What about when charging the 470uF cap?

Doesn't seem to be a problem. That's how i determined it could withstand the overload for a few uS. I've charged up to 2.2mF with no problem. That is usually taken into account when designing such devices because they often have to carry peak currents for a given amount of time, before things normalise.
