IGBT or Insulated gate bipolar transistor is another kind of blocking device basically used to block some part of input source voltage or current.
Since SCR conducts little current in forward blocking stage IGBT is used instead of it as it supplies 0 power in forward blocking stage . So it can be ideal SCR .
Thus is eqivalent IGBT model for above offset voktage
When gate voltage is more than anode voltage it blocks current otherwise conducts it.
