Yes the app can't handle the ohm's law correctly this way. I=U/R --> I=6.91/0 see the error? You can't divide by zero. If you add a resistor even 1uOhm then the balance is restored and it'll work. See in reality every source known to man has internal resistance of 5ohm-0.001ohm so ohm's law is still viable even for a short circuit but here in EC the components are perfect and the Voltage source has internal resistance=0ohm. The only place in reality where ohm's law fails is in superconductors but they are still not well known to humanity so I'm not qualified to explain what happens there.
