This is my as built Zero Voltage Switching circuit, originally designed by Vladimiro Mazzilli. Press the momentary to get it oscillating (not needed when building as actual component values vary enough to get it started). Series resistance with the power supply is also only a simulation requirement. I use this driver to drive my hand wound HV transformer whose center tapped primary is represented here by the two inductors. The operating frequency is determined by the tank circuit made with the main capacitor bank and the transformer inductors.
