Colpitts oscillator,which consists of Tank circuit and NPN BJT(2N3904) amplifier.By choosing the amplification factor just right,we can get a stable output waveform.The frequency of output waveform in this case is 1.2 kHz(approx).

But this common base variation is many times published as FM transmitter, so i feel its equal or even more frequently used then common emitter version
