The LEDs show how which diodes conduct during a cycle of three phase power. For example when the green sine wave goes positive the top green LED will light, and when the red sine wave goes negative the bottom red LED will light. The output blue LED will constantly be on. This is a visual demonstration of how three AC sine waves convert to a DC output.
