Use an RC circuit and an op-amp or a long tailed pair.

@fatcat2 how do you know that he wants to create a delay? He may just be trying to switch a load. Let us first ask him what he is exactly trying to do before offering advice

You could try Mosfet switching on EC. To use a N-Mosfet on EC for full switching just set it like this: W= fully clockwise, L= fully anti-clockwise, KP= fully clockwise, VTO=3. Forget lambda. Keep the Source arrow (which points out from the mosfet) fixed directly to earth. Use between 5v and 12v for your gate on switch when not at zero volts off. If you delete the "s" in "https" when posting a link it fixes the issue. Not the best method but it works
