The resonance frequency of this RLC circuit is 88.9 Hz. 1) Toggle any of the lower three switches in order to store some initial energy inside the circuit, then toggle it again. 2) Observe the LC circuit oscillate (always) at the (same) resonance frequency of 88.9 Hz, no matter how you stored some energy in it. 3) Toggle the switch on the top to dissipate some or all of the energy stored in the circuit through the resistor (critically damped oscillations), then toggle it again. 4) go to 1) ### WHAT TO REMEMBER ### "Given any combination of RLC elements, the resonant frequency of the circuit is a property of the system which is independent of the initial energy stored in the reactive components."
