Why doesn't this work?? It should just work perfectly fine, but no. I don't understand... :(

1kHz ac source suppose to be 50Hz, and peak voltage must be a little higher to please 12V zener reference or lower zener voltage. 200kOhm against 300uF tau=RC where tau is much to large. Load 5Ohm is very optimistic. Start with 1kOhm.

Your wrong at the diodes.

@Hurz Thank you! I hadn't even seen that that resistor was 200 k, qas supposed to be just 200 ohms

230V is much to high, calculate the wasted power of all components and think about. Anyway, you are welcome!
