Pretty good design- however the RC capacitor value is much too small if circuit is intended to be used as a flasher. At any kHz frequency lights will appear as "solid on". Increase capacitor to 100uF to make more realistic..

I changed the R×C= TC to gain a more realistic discharge timing. Any more than 47u farads and it gets a bad harmonics echo and the unstability creates Volts in the Mega range.

I gotta say I really like your idea of the interchangeable display- but don't you think 10Hz is still pretty fast? If you don't want to go above 47uF, in your RC component, then adjust your "R" instead of your "C"..

Yeah but it losses it's visual stimulation when slowed to a realistic timed simulation. I like it the way it is.
