Hello EC community, I'm trying to address 99% of all of you, so please read if you can because your input is important and help end a long unpleasant dispute. And no this is not spam spilling over into Everycircuit ;) And yes this app is about electronics and shouldn't be about discussing issues like these...
Some of you will be aware (and sick of) of the long standing bickering that's been going on. I actually regret getting involved with but here's a taste of it here...

Anyway this post is not to ask you to take sides and get involved, nope! We want to end it, but there's this one sticking point (actually a few related points) that keeps cropping up and a user (no names mentioned) confuses....
Would you or wouldn't you agree that the concept of 'common sense' is something that everybody exhibits, that if one refuses the notion of common sense then something may be wrong with his/her state of mind? And in the same breath 'common sense' by its mere definition cannot be subjective?
And secondly is it common sense not to be charading around as an authority on electronics when you are not qualified to (Even though it is not stated in the 'EveryCircuit' terms of use)?... this potentially misleading users who are new and use this app for education. To ask said user not to potentially mislead users is a 'request' not a 'mandate'?
I am not trying to persuade anyone to take sides. I / we are trying to get a concensus of what the general EC user believes to be wrong or right. If you have read through the forums and seen the arguments (not proud of this) and believe there's a fatal flaw in any of the logic then please see fit to put this right and end this debate. And the use of swearing is rife again not proud of, but please try to look past that and see what is actually being said ;)
One last thing to hurz, kiani, lenzrulz, and myself. Since we have been the main players in this debate, let's keep this concensus free from our influence to keep it fair. So no postings from us here, unless there's a question directed at us (this is not a mandate lenz, a request to keep this influence free)
