Firstly, this thing is called multivibrator, not multi vibrator. Secondly Hurz will never say something is good. That is like reverse gravitation. It is good when he says nothing.

This would TECHNICALLY work, but looks messy to me; The frequancy hardly looks a mess, and the current through the capacitors and transformer looks so low and the windings so high, that with histerysis given in mind, the output wouldnt be much use except for signaling (HV MOSFET driver). Better idea maybe is use the multi vibrator to signal two series sets of OP amp w/ capacitor sets to convert the signal from square to triangle to sin, then use that signal to drive a H bridge with MOSFETs, with an a resonant pair of transformer and capacitor. Adds quite a bit of complication, but you can get MUCH higher power output (assuming you can control the heat from the H bridge MOSFETs).

Nice variation, works well, rearranged to check function, the circuit gives a higher output if biasing resistors eliminated, if transformer turns ratio reduced and output filtered to sine wave, it could drive a nice power Fet output circuit. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/4609142521331712

Whats missing in both of your circuits is a DC op. Test that for yourself and put a 100MOhm at one of the gates to ground and see it does not startup oscillation. Check this http://everycircuit.com/circuit/4627449869762560

@hurz, it took a while and a bit of testing to understand what you were talking about, but yes it doesn't take much to upset the circuit, and the change you suggested definitely made the circuit a bit harder against stray resistance, it also speed up the start a bit.

@hurts, as an English man I commend your use of the English language. But it is not perfect and I deliberately do not criticise it. I don’t speak any German - well, maybe a couple of words. Please don’t criticise people’s written English when you make mistakes yourself in almost every post. I have thought about pointing out your errors in case you wanted to correct them but decided you would just take offence.

And finally, I may be one of those side characters that nobody likes, but clearly, you want to continue the faffing. I think that everyone watching this "movie" can't decide whether they hate hurz or LeButch. It seems to be over, so that's a good thing. I'm telling you right now, that if you spend time insulting your opponent and discussing stupid topics (such as correcting grammar and all that) then NOBODY will like you. It should seem obvious. I get the feeling "Hurz" is actually (erikjohanson2003) and (LeButch). But maintains "Hurz" simultaneously as a decoy appearing to be "non-suspect.
