This a simple oscillator circuit that can generate square waves from DC inputs but it is slightly unstable as the trigger (switch) does not work most of the times none the less it is pretty efficient even for it's simplicity.would suggest first wait until we obtain sustained oscillations and then close the switch to get the rectified output

Two inverter too much. Its also working with 3 of them. Anyway, very unrealistic oscillation cuz it depends on the propagation delay you set. Here 100us. The delay is simulated with an RC low pass inside the NOT gate at output. So in reality it might oscillate, but at a much higher frequency, only if propdelay cause an extra 180° phase shift.
