This is a bad design... To start no one uses 5 power supplies to light a display and a light, esp not 2 volt power supplies, those are unheard of. If you notice the top part of the display is lighter because it doesn't have the same voltage as the bottom segments. Best thing to do with this is to remove all but one power supply, crank it up to five volts (that's a pretty common voltage in electronics, esp in transistor to transistor logic, or ttl) then connect the positive to all the pins, now you have an 8 displayed. Then put a 50 ohm resistor in series with the light and hook it to the power supply. Now it will work better and a more reasonable circuit to actually build.

And what, exactly, do you have invented ? Probably not light bulbs :)
