AC to DC Question

240v RMS UK Power Supply stepped down to 4.64 volts DC so the LED can be powered. Question - Still have a slight ripple on the DC output. Its not much, (0.25v) I can increase the cap but it takes longer to charge up. Any way to rid the ripple?

Hmm, I added another 1mF cap next to the first one and the ripple dropped by about 50% of what it was. Only jumping up 0.12V...

Adding a zener in parallel, or a zener into an NPN base, are probably the easiest ways to reduce. More capacitance will work too but it's not very cost or space efficient :)
