A test on a 1/4 hp, 120 V, 60 Hz, 1725 rpm single-phase motor reveals the following results: R1 = 2 ohm R2 = 4 ohm X1 = 3 ohm X2 = 3 ohm Rm = 600 ohm Xm = 60 ohm draw the equivalent circuit diagram and determine the power output, efficiency, and power factor of the motor when it turns at 1725 rpm. this is how I draw the equivalent circuit of the motor; the values of forward and backward impedance both become halves of the stated known ohms, the values of the inductor's Henry have been calculated as the equation of the impedance X = 2πf.L , and so L = X/2πf. the graphs just looks like this and I had no idea what does it means

I added a 470 uF after the 1 Ohm resistor, and connected it to after the other 1 Ohm resistor. This creates more angle between both current maps, which I believe should help the rotating field produce a smoother torque.
