2 leds switching by transistor PNP. Increase or decrease the value of both capacitors for fast or slow flashing.
To start close the circuit with the SWITCH

Never seen it done like this before... It's not totally healthy, interesting effect though

I've seen this version before- in an "Engineer's Mini Notebook". I've even built it- gotta say the npn is the way to go, in Sim and for real..
