Do you this that this is a safe supply? It's fairly isolated from the mains

As a sealed night light, it might get away with the safe rating, personally, anything without a transformer,or at least a SMPS is potentially dangerous.

Sorry, but this circuit is dump. It is so damn inefficient. 1 The regulator through the zener diode. 2 The voltagedrop through the 100 ohm resistor. If you'd touch that, you would burn your hands from wasted power.

The only one, with a grilled brain is LeBitch. The power @100 Ohm is much to low to burn even a finger. LeBitch pissing contest continues. But the question was if its safe, and I can only say its not safe its very dangerous!
