What?!? What the heck is happening to that relay

It is called latching.

No bug

@eddib17 I believe the issue has to do with part of your circuit being disconnected from ground (simulation error). Also you can accomplish a latching relay with a single relay and a resistor. A working version of your circuit as well as a latching relay using one relay can be found here: http://everycircuit.com/circuit/4674620529311744

Couple of issues are due to having both a dc source and a current source. Both are not needed in this circuit. Remove the current sources. Next there are two relays in series causing enough voltage drop they can't operate as configured. Select a relay, tap the wrench icon twice and you see the settings under which relays operate.

This link to a simple relay circuit that contains links to several circuits. Open the circuit, select the save folder, save as Private so you have access to links at your leisure _ _ http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6668370968313856

@wyoelk while both a dc source and a current source aren't needed the issue doesn't stem from having both; in the original circuits configuration with only a current source the issue exists. Moving the ground so it is between current source and coil the issue goes away regardless of if dc source and current source are used or just a current source. When the push-nc is toggled in the original circuit the relays coils become isolated from ground (as denoted by the graying of that part of the circuit). This issue would *likely* not occur in real life (I don't have a current source so I can't definitively say it wouldn't), this is why I refer to is as simulation error.

@wyoelk I only added the current source after the led on the other side wouldn't light up. I couldn't remember what these were called 'latching relay' not 'sticky relay' so I couldn't find them. I did some a few years back and couldn't remember how they were done, so I started playing.

But thanks for reminding me what they are called, abs linking one.
