The MOSFET Im using is a 30N06L Logic MOSFET rated for 32 amps of continuous current at 60V.

32amps right, but not at the same time 60V. Anyway, have you ever had this transistor in your hands? Its not made for this kind of little amplifier and wont be as good as a simple bc547 for that application. The frequency response will be very bad. Use this power monster better in switching application were its made for and for this linear jobs use a BS170 or BJT
