Prime Number Detector

A 4 bit prime number detector able to detect all primes from 1 to 15. Topology includes three inverters, one AND gate, three triple input AND gates and one 4 input OR gate.I have also included a binary to decimal converter.

Simply input binary number using the logic sources (LSB at far right, MSB at far left). Green LED lights up upon detecting a prime number

I'm curious about the counter. I see how it loads the binary number to the decimal converter logic gates, but why not just connect the logic sources directly to the converter gates?

You’re right. I considered an auto sequence but opted for a manual setup. Seemed easier to leave it in for others to mess around with then rewire it.
