Can anyone tell me why I can’t read current, newbie here

I also had the question, but it seems the app treats nodes (spots where wires connect) to read Voltage, and it will read Amps on loads. So if you put in a lamp, or DC Motor, you should see the Amps.

As you can see by your circuit, the WaveForm at the top of screen shows what would be shown if holding the negative always on the ground (symbolized) and what the meter would read if the positive lead of the tester were placed anywhere along the color locations depicted. Hence, why Orange is showing 0V, because there is no voltage difference between anywhere along the orange section of wire and the Ground symbol.

To read current select, for example, the resistor then touch the eye icon at the bottom of screen - current axis appears on rhs.

If you want you can touch scope screen at top and drag your finger down - this separates traces and gives them all their own axes. Hope this helps.

Do reverse of this to go back.
