This circuit uses PNP and PNP transistors to switch on/off current to the voltage divider to be able to read "safe" voltage for ESP32 analog PIN. Where there is the switch it represents ESP32 GPIO pin switching HIGH and LOW signal while turning on the voltage divider. Then the voltmeter represents ESP32 analog PIN to read the voltage.
