Close the switch on the right first, and two second after - close the other switch. Wait 10 seconds until amp falls into regime. Vin - 3.85Vm Av - 5.7 Pout - 60W Pcc - 212W η - 28% Δf - 13Hz - 50kHz @ - 3dB PSRR - - 60dB. Could be better if the zener regulation is replaced with an LM317 regulator. THD - 0.007%

If think the gain is too high or the q point is a little bit of.

60w class A amplifier? It will generate a lot of heat

The bias is correct. Just give it a few seconds to normalise. P.S. Yes it'll generate a lot of heat, but I have a way of dissipating it, so it's not really an issue for me

Wasn't the maximum theoretical efficiency 25% for class A amplifiers? How did you get 28%?

The maximum theoritical peak efficiency is 30%, but the average efficiency can be as low as 5-6%. Transformer coupled class A amps take it up a notch to 50% ideally, but these maximum values can never be reached.
