I don't know for which chip, from digital PWM side, this is. Can you give some information about the controller you might use. PWM frequency, resilution in bits, etc...? Arduino for example do pulse about 400Hz and 10bit resolution. But your setup must have a much higher pulse frequency even if its just a 4bit resolution. And the gain of this filter cause overshots which cause additional limits in settling speed. Again, what is the digital config you use or plan to use? Let us know please.
