Well a transformer is two copper coils with a Neodymium magnet, when an electron gets near a magnetic field it might have the same charge as the magnet therefore causing it to repel each other like two alike magnets get near eachor

The relay is needed to automatically start up the circuit. Since it happen to me quinte often I usually use it. Also, it's a guess, he may have copied a circuit of mine since he used the same parameters as I did even for transformer and relay
