Changing the values of R1 (top) and RE (bottom) will change the relationship between the currents through the circuit. The reference current can be found as:

Iref = ( (5V) - Vbe(on) - (-5V) ) / R1

The output current (right side) can then be found using:

Io = ( VT / RE ) * ln( Iref / Io )
