Copied the wire diagram from the net. Can someone explain whats wrong?

Hi! The 10nf condensator is wrong conected, you must conect CRTL pin to a pin of the condensator and the other pin of condensator to ground. CTRL and GND mustn't be conected beetwen them. Delete de 470uf condensator and change the led's 1k resistor to 300ohm. Sorry for my bad english

As Leo1372 says there are problems with the capacitors, the problems are a bit more extensive than what he's saying thought, here is a basic 555 flashing circuit that can be observed in real time. Play around with it and see what each bit does http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5197312154664960
