Example for a 555 Timer

This is something that a fellow EC member asked about. You don't get a 100% perfect 50/50 duty cycle, but I also just changed the calculator values to weird ones. Look online for 555 frequency calculator, you should find something from house of Jeff .com or .net, not sure, where you can calculate it easily. Hope it helps!

@robotautopsy I tried this setup with a 1k and a 4k ohm resistor, it works perfectly fine and outputs a 1.5Hz frequency which I wanted to use for a bicycle indicator

There is an app called ElectroDroid. There, you can calculate the frequency and duty cycle for specific component values (and vice versa) and a lot of other stuff too
