Well the D Flip-Flop has (in my case) a frequency input of 1kHz and a frequency output of 500 Hz. That is because the D Flip-Flop has an "own current"... What i mean is every time when you power it it changed the HIGH and LOW thing:)... So... I'll write it so that you can understand it better... Current: On Flip-Flop:On Current:Off Flip-Flop:On Current:On Flip-Flop:Off Current:Off Flip-Flop:Off Current:On Flip-Flop:On ... And so on... Enjoy :)

You can also say that the logic train 'toggles' the output. You could replace the input with a push button and it would act like a click-pen I guess.
