Control a 12v DC motor's speed and direction using a PWM signal from an NE555 timer IC.

I see you set up an H Bridge there. You know how it works right?

Here is a better working model. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6365054381850624

You want to have diodes in there to keep everything running correctly, or when each mosfet is supposed to run.

So what I recommend is having the Hbridge similar to circuit In the link I posted, and having the 555 move the switch

The 1k resistors goes to the gates of your mosfets and not to the power supply, this is to turn off the mosfet that otherwise will stay on, creating a short circuit that can destroy your bridge and maybe the 555 timer

Yeah sorry guys my bad I did screw up I put the 1k resistors shorting the 12v supply and not to the gates. I've made a couple adjustments and it works properly now.

Nice! Where are the motor connections? Thanks
